Problem
Security operations across commercial facilities often rely on manual paper logbooks and fragmented phone updates. Guards log visitor arrivals by hand, patrol checkpoints go unverified, and facility managers have no real-time view of who is on site. The goal was to build a unified operational platform to verify visitors via secure QR codes, log physical patrol check-ins, and give property managers real-time visibility across gate activity.
Engineering
Aivora Studios architected a multi-tenant Laravel SaaS backend with a reactive mobile-responsive web dashboard. Implemented time-sensitive signed QR passes that validate instantly against cached site rosters. Added background sync queues to handle guard incident logs during brief network dropouts. The tenant model isolates sites, guards, and visitor logs by client account, with role-based permissions for facility managers, security supervisors, and gate operators.
Operational Impact
Replaced manual paper visitor logbooks with verifiable digital gate check-ins, provided facility directors with centralized audit trails across multiple sites, and established structured operational reporting for guard patrol shifts. Security supervisors can now see which guards are on duty, which checkpoints were verified, and which visitors are currently on site.
