A clean white-label Laravel handover for agencies

Agencies often have more Laravel work than in-house capacity. A client wants a new feature, a legacy project needs a fix, or an integration has to ship next week. Hiring takes months, and saying no to clients is costly.

White-label development fills that gap. You keep the client relationship and the brand. We do the build, quietly, inside your process.

This post explains how that works with us in practice, and how to start small so you can judge the fit without much risk.

Your brand, our build

In a white-label setup, your client deals with you. We do not contact your clients, put our name in the code or the commits, or market ourselves to them. Deliverables go to you, in your format, for you to review and ship.

That also means we follow your standards. If you have coding conventions, a branching strategy or a review process, we work within them.

Working in your tools

A clean handover depends on the work living where your team already works:

  • Repository. We work in your Git repository, on branches, with pull requests your team can review. Nothing lives on our side that you cannot see.
  • Communication. We join your Slack or similar workspace, in a shared channel or as guests, so questions get answered fast.
  • Project management. Tickets stay in your tool, whether that is Jira, Linear, Trello, ClickUp or something else. We update status there, not in a separate system.

When a piece of work is done, you should be able to pick it up without us: the code is in your repo, the context is in the ticket and the pull request explains what changed.

What a good handover includes

For each piece of work, we aim to leave:

  • A pull request with a clear description of what changed and why.
  • Notes on any new environment variables, migrations or config.
  • Steps to test the change, ideally with automated tests where the project supports them.
  • Any risks or follow-up items we noticed along the way.

The goal is that your team or your client's team can maintain the code after we step away.

Start with a small ticket

We suggest starting with something small and well-defined. It lets you see how we communicate, how we write code and how we handle feedback, before trusting us with anything larger.

Our agency starter options are priced as fixed ranges:

  • Quick fix: $75–$100 for a small, scoped bug fix or change.
  • API or integration task: $150–$300, depending on the service and complexity.
  • Overflow block: roughly 20 hours of work for $200–$350, for a batch of tickets or a small feature.

The exact price depends on the ticket. We confirm scope and price before starting, and if a task turns out larger than expected, we tell you before going further rather than after.

When a project is in worse shape

Sometimes an agency inherits a Laravel project that nobody understands well. In that case it is often worth getting a clear picture first. Our rescue audit costs $500 and is delivered in 48 hours, with a written report you can share with your client under your own brand. Larger follow-on work can run as a fix sprint at $1,000, with half up front.

What we need to get started

  • Access to the repository, or a branch we can work on.
  • A ticket or short brief describing the change and how you will judge it done.
  • A contact on your team for questions.
  • Any conventions or review rules we should follow.

Try a first ticket

If you have Laravel work waiting and not enough hands, send us one small ticket and see how it goes. Read more about how our white-label development works and get in touch.
